The history of Jochem, voor ogen dates back to March 11, 1891, when Mr. Bosch opened the optician's shop at Vispoortenplas. In 1972, it continued under the name Jochem van Zanten Optiek, and has been under its current name since 2006. We are a fully independent company that is constantly evolving.

In 2016, 125 years of optics at Vispoortenplas were celebrated with a unique edition of the book "Pioneers in Optiek."
